Meet Christina Almony on Sunday, October 4th, at the Gazebo in the courtyard between the church and Brenner Hall to pick up your monthly theme activities. I will be there just after the 8:00AM mass and will leave when all packets have been picked up or at the start of the 11:00 AM mass. We have decided to adjust the office hours once again since it is summer and things have been slower with continued restrictions and travel...the parish office will be open on the following days and hours effective Monday July 6th. We expect this schedule to continue at least until the end of the month possibly until mid-August.
Monday: 10 am - 2 pm Tuesday: 10 am - 2 pm Wednesday: 10 am - 5 pm While the office will be open it will remain closed to walk-in visitors. Please call Terry Fenstermacher at 717-848-2007 ext 101 if you need to pick up any documentation of Mass cards.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: This evening we received our updated pastoral considerations during this time of pandemic. Since we are in a county where we have a "Stay At Home" order in place the practice of having "Drive-Thru" Confessions is now suspended, therefore today was the last day of confessions before Easter. I will not be offering confessions (except in cases of danger of death) until at least April 30th. While I am deeply saddened my this development I will be taking this additional time to lift everyone up in prayer.
Today and effective immediately until further notice, Bishop Ronald W. Gainer, in union with the Bishops of Pennsylvania, has dispensed the faithful of the Diocese of Harrisburg from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass. Despite the suspension of the obligation to attend Sunday Mass, all regularly scheduled masses will remain open to the public for those who wish to attend. Bishop Gainer made this move out of great concern for the health and well-being of the faithful, their families, our clergy and parish staff, given the current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Those still wishing to attend Mass are welcome, but are asked to be careful in their contact with others. The Diocese advises those who are currently ill, the elderly and those with a compromised immune system to remain at home. In addition to the dispensation, the Diocese has also requested that all parishes suspend the sign of peace; suspend the use of holy water fonts; suspend the distribution of the Precious Blood by way of the Chalice; take great care when separating the Holy Eucharist into separate vessels by pouring the hosts from one vessel to another; frequently wash hands, especially for our Priests, Deacons and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion; and regularly wash and disinfect doorknobs, pews and other places of high contact.
Tomorrow's Schedule is being adjusted...confessions will be heard from 12:30 - 1 pm and NOT 4:30 - 5 pm. Father Carroll apologizes for the inconvenience!
On Sunday September 22nd we will transition back into the Church. The Saturday Evening Mass and the Sunday Morning Masses will be celebrated in Brenner Hall. At the conclusion of the 10:45 am Mass we will have a Eucharistic Procession back into the Church. The procession will proceed up the ramp, around the property, and in the front doors of the Church. We will have a period of five minute silent reflection, and then benediction.
Then at 5:30 pm we will celebrate the opening Mass for the 40 Days for Life with Bishop Gainer as the Main Celebrant in the Church. PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO SUNDAY evening confessions.
HELP NEEDED: As we process to the Church I ask folks to please bring with them a hymnal or two. The book racks will be installed so we have a place for them. Also after the 10:45 am Mass we can use some help taking down the chairs. Many hands make light work. Just a reminder there will be no confessions or daily Mass this week until Friday so they can install the kneelers. Then we will be back into the Church for all confessions and Masses beginning Saturday September 28th!
I wanted to post about us going back to our regular schedule on Monday September 30th. When we go back to our regular schedule there will be NO CONFESSIONS on Tuesdays. My day off from the parish will begin late Monday evening into Tuesday night. PLEASE CLICK TITLE FOR DETAILED TIMES!
