Our Confirmation programs

As mentioned on the homepage our confirmation program is spread out over two years. In 7th grade our students use Decision Point a confirmation program offered by Dynamic Catholic.

While it must be stressed that is important for your child to attend Religious Education, these videos are available online along with a digital copy of the workbook for you to either preview or watch in the event your child is absent from class. In 8th grade we make use of the parish subscription of FORMED and view Y-Disciples program on Confirmation. Again as in 7th grade while it is important for your child to attend Religious Education classes, these videos are provided for you to preview or view later in the event of a missed class.

Religious Education students in grades 7 and 8 are expected to attend class regularly!
tWO YEAR CONFIRMATION EXPECTATIONS...STARTING FALL OF 2018
7TH Grade Year:
- Confirmation students and their parents are expected to attend the confirmation meeting which will be held in September.
- Students are to choose their confirmation sponsor by October 21st. Names are to be submitted to the Religious Education Office.
- Saints Reports are due to the Religious Education Office by April 28th
Summer after 7th Grade Year:
- Students are to complete their service hours and turn in their service hour papers along with a brief report on what they learned and how the service hours helped them grow. This is due at the start of the Religious Education Year.
8th Grade Year:
- Confrimation Retreat will be held on the First Saturday or Second Saturday in November. Letter to the Bishop and Pastor Letters are due
- 1 to 2 months prior to confirmation students will have their pastor interviews
